Husson University Swim Camp
Description: The Husson University swim camp is open to swimmers with a competitive swimming background, between the ages of 8 - 18 years old. Camp is held at Husson University, Webber Pool, and led by Head Coach Lauren Hoffman, the Eagles coaching staff and swimmers.
The goal of camp is to continue building confidence in the water while improving stroke technique and fundamentals in the water, helping to set each swimmer up for success.
Camp will be held during the last week of June, beginning Monday, June 29th and ending Thursday, July 2nd, from 8:30am - 4pm.
For swimmers that are new to competitive swimming, there will be a morning only session offered, from 8:30a-1p. The morning session focuses on in-water drills and stroke technique.
For swimmers that are more advanced age-group and senior level, it is recommended they attend both sessions. The afternoon session will encompass a pool workout.
Both sessions will include a dryland aspect, in-water drills, video analysis, sport psychology exercises, team building activities and will focus on building confidence in the water while having fun.
The last day of swim camp will include a swim meet, where all registrants are invited to participate, as well as parents and spectators. The meet will begin after lunch at 2:00 pm.
Both sessions will include lunch at Dickerman Dining Commons on campus. All registrants will receive a camp t-shirt.
