Webber Pool
The Webber Pool is located in the William P. Newman Athletic Facility. It is a 25-yard, six-lane, competitive pool and is home to the Husson men's & women's swimming & diving programs. The pool is also used by the Bangor High School swim & dive teams, Hurricane Swim Club, Husson students for recreation, conditioning, and injury rehabilitation, as well as by Husson faculty/staff and members of the community. Balcony seating capable of hosting over 500 spectators makes this facility one of the finest in the Eastern Maine area.
Extensive renovations have been maintained to the pools structure, roof, and side walls. New signage, timing and pace clocks, lane lines, and flags have been added.
Webber Pool has hosted several prestigious events, including Maine YMCA, Maine USA Swimming, and Maine High School State Championship meets.

You must enter the pool deck through the pool locker rooms. To access the pool locker rooms;
- If entering through the main doors of Newman Gymnasium, walk through the doors and take a left. Walk down the hallway, towards the women’s bathroom door and take a right. Walk all the way down the hallway. Once at the end of the hallway, take a left and go down two sets of stairs so you are on the same level of the Wight’s Strength and Conditioning Center. Once on the level of the strength and conditioning center, continue down the hallway where you will find the women’s and men’s pool locker rooms.
